Most electrical exams require you to perform complicated power questions. These calculations can be simple if you have a clear understanding of Ohm’s law. This interactive module teaches basic principles of math and techniques that will allow you to quickly recall formulas for performing the calculations from a systematic approach. Many questions are provided throughout the lesson to reinforce the learning. Although difficult calculations will be performed during this lesson, our unique program includes an on-screen calculator and a user supplied calculator is not necessary.

Load Calculations

<Load calculations can be one of the most difficult portions of the electrical exam. The questions are time consuming and the NEC tables can be hard to understand. This lesson will help you understand where, why, and how to perform these calculations. Most students spend the majority of their study time before an exam on load calculations because of the variety and complexity of the types of questions. Let us help you understand and master calculations related to electric ranges, electric clothes dryers, lighting loads, receptacle loads, appliance loads and more.
