This lesson is designed to help the user learn and remember formulas for calculating total resistance of resistive circuits. This interactive course teaches how to perform resistor calculations and also covers the basic principles of mathematics associated with these formulas. During this lesson, many practice questions will be given that will help to develop the skills necessary to pass your exam. Topics covered include series, parallel and combination circuits. A copy of the National Electrical Code will be needed to complete some of the practice questions. Although this study is based on the 2008 edition of the NEC, most earlier versions will be sufficient to answer these questions. Although difficult calculations will be performed during this lesson, our unique program includes an on-screen calculator and a user supplied calculator is not necessary.
