Conductor Ampacity (CD)

This lesson will provide an understanding of how to determine the maximum allowed ampacity and overcurrent protection for electrical conductors, teach you how to determine the proper application of conductors and when or where they can be used, and finally it will teach you how to calculate maximum allowed conduit fill. Questions are provided throughout the presentation to reinforce the learning and will provide the basis necessary for passing the related portion of your exam.Although this study is based on the 2008 edition of the NEC, most earlier versions will be sufficient to answer these questions. Although calculations will be performed during this lesson, our unique program includes an on-screen calculator and a user supplied calculator is not necessary.
