NFPA 30A-15: Code for Motor Fuel Dispensing Facilities and Repair Garages, 2015 Edition

Fire safety at motor fuel dispensing operations and motor vehicle repair facilities depends on the critical guidelines in NFPA 30A.
Dispensing flammable motor fuels can present serious hazards that can be avoided by adhering to specialized guidelines. The 2015 edition of NFPA 30A: Code for Motor Fuel Dispensing Facilities and Repair Garages provides the latest rules for fuel storage and piping, fuel dispensing systems, and operating procedures for retail fuel dispensing, marine fuel dispensing, and fleet vehicle fuel dispensing. NFPA 30A also covers gaseous motor vehicle fuels when dispensed at the same locations as liquid fuels.
Now with a refined scope and added references to ANSI/UL standards:

NFPA 30A’s scope has been clarified and revised to state that the Code applies to repair garages regardless of the type of fuel present, and that the Code does not apply to aircraft fueling.
Chapter 6: Fuel Dispensing Systems includes added references to ANSI/UL 842: Standard for Valves for Flammable Fluids and ANSI/UL 2586: Standard for Hose Nozzle Valves.
Amended Chapter 12 Additional Requirements for CNG, LNG, Hydrogen, and LPG resolves inconsistencies between NFPA 30A and other NFPA® codes addressing alternative fuels.
