Bonds are required for all licenses. American Contractors has the lowest prices for Bonds!
Reciprocity
Rather than reciprocal agreements with other states, Arizona waives the trade exam for any applicant who has been the qualifying party within the last 5 years for a license in good standing in a classification the Registrar deems equivalelnt in another state, and passed a comaprable trade exam to obtain that license.
Continuing Education
Arizona does not currently have Continuing Education requirementsThe Exam
The Business Law exam is 80 questions, multiple-choice with a 3-hours time limit.
The exam is open-book with 70% required to pass.
Exam fees are $66.00 for one exam or $116.00 for two exams (Business Management and one trade)
